I personally handle every step of the process, from woodworking and painting to hand-stenciling each wood sign and décor piece. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just honest, handmade craftsmanship.
My style draws inspiration from vintage farmhouse decor, infused with uplifting messages and a generous sprinkle of sass—because your home should reflect both your heart and your personality. Whether you’re decorating for a season, celebrating a holiday, or searching for a meaningful gift, you’ll find pieces designed to be cherished.
You can find A Note of Grace at craft markets from March through December throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area. Custom orders for unique wood signs are always welcome—because sometimes the perfect sign starts with your idea.
Meet The Maker
I’m a mom of two, a proud gran’ma to four absolutely precious gran’babies, and the heart and hands behind A Note of Grace. I grew up on a farm in Manitoba and have called Edmonton home since 1980—but make no mistake, I’m still a farm girl at heart. Hard work, simple joys, and strong values run deep around here.
I’ve been a crafter since my 4-H days, and while I loved papercrafting, everything changed when the twins arrived. Somewhere between nap times and snack breaks, I discovered woodworking—and I was hooked. There’s just something deeply satisfying about turning raw wood into something meaningful with your own two hands.
I’m blessed to be Granny/Nanny to three of my four gran’babies, which means my days are fueled by coffee, love, and a whole lot of energy. By evening? Well… that’s when a well-earned glass of wine sometimes makes an appearance. Balance, right?
My faith is what grounds me and carries me through each day. It influences not just how I live, but what I create. I believe in grace, purpose, and adding beauty to everyday spaces. I also love decorating my home for every season and holiday—which is exactly why I fell in love with making wood signs and home décor in the first place.
